You don't need to be an expert to be part of the Community Drum Jam experience. There's nothing quite like the sound of 30 or so drummers and percussionists working together, rediscovering their natural rhythm and reconnecting with their roots. Drumming, after all, is the oldest healing ritual known to man and has always inspired a sense of community and belonging.
Jersey Evening Post Wednesday 28th November 2001 ... Drumming Up Enthusiasm: Drummers of all ages and sizes gathered at Springfield on Sunday for a jam session led by local drummer Alex Glendinning. The event was the second community drum jam to be held in the Island in the last three weeks, giving Islanders the chance to enjoy the theraputic effects and joys of drumming together.
